Membership Application

This digital form is for people of the Greater Dallas and North East Texas community who would like to apply to be a Member of the United Court of the Lone Star Empire.

New Members require their applications to be approved by the membership prior to becoming an active member.

To be considered for approval, new membership applications must be submitted prior to the monthly Membership meeting. Applicants are also required to attend the meeting in which their application is reviewed.

Our Membership meetings are currently held In-Person (sometimes virtual meetings via Zoom may be used). 

Membership renewals must be completed by December 31. (The reigning monarchs may designate a soft cut-off date in order to prepare investments at the Investiture ceremony).

Associate Members: Persons who wish to join the UCLSE as a non-voting member who lives outside the EMPIRE/GEOGRAPHICAL SERVICE AREA.

Please have a picture of your unexpired government-issued photo ID to upload for proof of domicile and minimum age. (please use something to 'mark out/cover' the line that has your driver's license number - or like number). This a reminder that once the -above is verified the image will be destroyed.

Membership dues will be taken as part of this form via debit card or credit card.

Photo Release

1. As a member of the United Court of the Lone Star Empire, I grant permission to be photographed for group portraits or individually during any United Court of the Lone Star Empire-related activity. I further permanently and irrevocably release any personal rights and/or royalties for any and all photographs or images made of me by the United Court of the Lone Star Empire and agree that any such photographs or images remain the property of the United Court of the Lone Star Empire and may be displayed or reproduced by United Court of the Lone Star Empire for promotional, marketing, or other purposes in printed or electronic form.

    Official United Court of the Lone Star Empire information and announcements are disseminated through a combination of systems. It is my responsibility as a member of the United Court of the Lone Star Empire, to take note of this information when it is provided to me. I also understand that some communications are restricted to the Membership only and should not be disclosed or discussed with non-Members. I acknowledge and will keep confidential any information regarding the United Court of the Lone Star Empire, when the confidentiality rule is invoked or the need for confidentiality is disclosed.

I shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless the United Court of the Lone Star Empire, its officers, and directors from any and all claims, loss, damage, injury, and liability of every kind, nature, and description arising directly or indirectly from my participation inUnited Court of the Lone Star Empire (whether it be at meetings, events, virtual events, or otherwise), even if such claim may be groundless, fraudulent, or false, except to the extent such indemnity is void or otherwise unenforceable under applicable law and except where such claim, loss, damage, injury, or liability is the result of the negligence, or recklessness, or willful misconduct of United Court of the Lone Star Empire, its officers or directors. I specifically acknowledge and agree that I have an independent obligation to defend the United Court of the Lone Star Empire, its officers, and its directors from any claim which actually or potentially falls within this indemnification provision even if such claim may be groundless, fraudulent, or false.

4. This policy states the United Court of the Lone Star Empire’s position on discrimination. This policy applies to UCLSE members and potential members. It is the policy of the UCLSE to treat members equally without regard to race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, physical or mental ability, veteran status, military obligations, and marital status.

Signature

As set forth by the By-laws and the Standard Operating Procedures of the United Court of the Lone Star Empire. Membership in the UCLSE requires that you:

1. Reside within the geographical service area of the UCLSE.

2. Pay annual membership dues of $50.

3. Agree to meet the duties and responsibilities outlined in the Governing Documents of the UCLSE.

A membership application must be delivered via this electronic form with your attendance at a Membership meeting in order to be considered. Additionally, you must present for review your valid and unexpired government-issued photo ID for proof of domicile verification and minimum age verification.
