Coronation Weekend Program


Coronation Weekend Cost:

We have two Coronation Weekend Registration Packages available:

PACKAGE # 1:
ALL events are included for the one all-inclusive price of $150.00!
Events as listed below.

Wrist band for this package must be worn all weekend.

PACKAGE # 2:
Includes all events except for the Sunday Victory Brunch for $110.
(NO Sunday Victory Brunch ticket).

Wrist band for this package must be worn all weekend.

PACKAGE # 3:

Saturday Coronation Ball, After Coronation Celebration, and shuttle busses - ONLY for $90

(No Friday or Sunday events/access).

Wrist band for this package must be worn all day Saturday.

Out of Town Show:   

Friday, October 27th – 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – Crowne Plaza - Dallas Market Center
(NOTE: Music files must be MP3 format-emailed in advance).
Hors d’oeuvres served. Cash bar available.

 

Bus Tour:   

Friday, October 27th – Buses loading at 8:30 p.m. – Crowne Plaza – Dallas Market Center
Leaving hotel at 8:45 p.m. for the gayborhood and ending the evening at the Hidden Door.
Food will be served at the Hidden Door

 

Coronation Ball and Lunch:

Saturday, October 28th Doors open at 1 p.m. – Crowne Plaza – Dallas Market Center

Lunch & Program 1:30 p.m.
Food served **Vegetarian plate available upon request.
Vendor market during Coronation.

(no intermissions - please dress accordingly)

 

After Coronation Celebration:

Saturday, October 28th at 8 p.m. – Hidden Door
Shuttle service provided – first bus loads at 8 p.m.; departs hotel at 8:15 p.m.
Food served at the Hidden Door.
Shuttles leave Hidden Door at midnight for the hotel.

 

Victory Brunch:

Sunday, October 28th Doors open at 10 AM at Crowne Plaza – Dallas Market Center.
The brunch
program will begin at 10:30 AM

 

Jell-O Shot Party and Victory Show:

Sunday, October 29th – 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – TMC - The Mining Company
Food served

 

Registration:

Registration is OPEN.    **Register for Coronation HERE**

       

**Advance registration is REQUIRED.**

**No at-the-door tickets will be sold.

Registration check-in will begin on Friday, October 27th at 4:30 p.m. at the Out-of-Town Show.
All registrants will receive a wristband that must be worn all weekend for entry.

Room Rate: $147 per night + taxes for King or Double

**Complimentary Breakfast Buffet is included for two registered guests in each room for Friday & Saturday**

The block is by space available. Book early!
The hotel will monitor reservations and expand our block daily as needed - if rooms are available.

The schedule will be posted on our website and available in print at the event.

Protocol:

Will be accepted electronically **IN ADVANCE**.
 
Visiting Court designees will submit their protocol in an editable WORD Document to the
Protocol Team at: Protocol@DallasCourt.org
The
deadline for electronic submission is: 11:59 p.m. central time on Saturday, October 20th.

Use Arabic numbers (5, 10, 15) - do NOT use Roman numerals (V, X, XV). Roman numerals will NOT be announced.  

For any tricky pronunciations - the emcees would appreciate phonetic helpers.

 

Dallas recognizes the one title—one walk policy. Guests will be announced with their highest title presented. (Board titles are recognized along with perpetual and line titles). Titles bestowed by the Reigning Monarchs as well as any title bestowed by our founder Empress Jose’ and Queen Mother I, Empress Nicole the Great will be recognized. Dynastic names, houses, ball announcements, and "whoopty-dos" are not allowed. We reserve the right to edit all protocols submitted.

Program Book Ads:

The program will be digital in portrait format.
The program book will be provided to all registered attendees via a special USB jump drive and posted on the UCLSE website.
The size is 8.5x11 in landscape (wide) format.
Files must be sent as  JPG or PDF. Files should be rendered at the preferred 600 dpi (but no less than 300 dpi). 

The ad submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. central time on
Thursday, August 31.

There is no provision for late ads.

Considerations:

Please provide your own make-up towels.
No open flames, confetti or glitter tossing, please.
No nudity, bare breasts, or bare buttocks, per Texas Law.
No live animals in the Ballroom.
Since our events are in bars this year - you must be age 21 to attend.
There will be shuttle transportation provided this year on Friday & Saturday.
The host hotel has an indoor swimming pool.  Bring your swimsuit!  

(Please make sure to thoroughly wash off all make-up before entering the pool).
