December 11, 2011

The United Court of the Lone Star Empire Presented
Investiture XXXVII, Western Burlesque...Fantasy Showgirls and Gentlemen Cowboys

Saturday December 10, 2011 showcased the first State Function of His Most Imperial Majesty, Emperor XXXVII Marshall Styers and Her Most Imperial Majesty, Empress XXXVII Lips LaRue. The Brick/Joe's bar was filled to the rafters with Holiday decorations and many people who had come out to witness the first official act of the new Monarchs of Dallas and all Northeast Texas.

Members of the Leather, Country Western and Bear Communities, as well as representatives of the D/FW Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were the flag bearers and bore the flags of the International Court System: Canada, Mexico and the United States as well as the flag of Texas, the Leather Pride and Bear Pride flags.

After the Life-Time title holders and then the College of Monarchs were presented, the evening quickly turned to one of the best parts of the evening. The Dowager Monarchs of Dallas and all Northeast Texas, Emperor XXXVI Sir Jimmie Tucker and Empresses XXXVI Kerri Lynn Summers and Mother Love St. James gave away the monies raised by their Reign. Over $43,000 was given to 6 different charities!

At last it was time for the Reigning Monarchs to grant their titles… over 50 different titles, including honorariums and Family titles, were granted to those in attendance.

The Reigns first show followed immediately and raised over $500! At the same time, members of the Dallas Court were also co-producing with the Texas Gay Rodeo Association, "Hard Candy Christmas" where an additional $1500 will be split between the two groups.

The night was truly a great start to a new Reign.

Long may the Monarchy live and raise money and awareness to the Dallas and North Texas area!
